i have a chevrolet avalanche 2006 and 28000 miles,do i steel have factory warranty?

It would depend on what date the "in service date" was. Meaning, the date the vehicle was titled for the first time. Your vehicle came with a 3 year, 36,000 bumper to bumper warranty.

So, although your vehicle is a 2006, it is possible that it was bought in 2005 which would mean that you don't have any warranty left.

You can call your local chevy dealer, ask for the service department and they can run your vin# to find out what the in service date was for you. Or, if you are the original owner, and you still have your contract, the in service date would be the day you purchased it, then go 3 years from that.

I found loads in USA but it would be easier in UK, iv been to all the local building suppliers i.e Jewsons etc all the ones you can walk into off the street. tried google all i got was ones in USA.

Or try them direct on 01708 559 609 or e-mail rubiuk@rubi.com they do manufacture these concrete pattern stamps, I suspect that they may be a special order item for most stockists though, in which case beware that once you order them that's it no refunds unless covered by the usual sale of goods act. i.e. if you just change your mind on the pattern then it's too late.

If you want to achieve a sun-kissed glow without scorching your face, opt for using a bronzer. It is easy to use on face and body for a beautiful, natural tan look. Bronzers come in three forms: pressed powder, liquid or cream and aerosol, and can be purchased in any store that sells cosmetics. There are different techniques for using different bronzers.

Pressed powder bronzer is the most universal and can be used all over to enhance the tan. For light skin tone, choose a peach or light brown color bronzer to avoid the stripes. For darker tones, deeper, brick colored bronzers will be perfect. It can be applied all over the face, neck, shoulders and chest, arms and even legs to accentuate the skin color. Using a round bronzer brush, lightly coat it with the powder and apply to forehead, cheeks, nose and chin using light circular motion. With a drop of water it will turn creamy and can be applied to cheekbones and eyelids.

Since skin cancer is becoming a great concern, doctors recommend using sunless tanners and avoid spending too much time in the sun. A sunless tanner with bronzer will allow to achieve a beautiful color within a few hours. The bronzer will give the skin a light shimmer, and leave it looking soft, healthy and beautiful. A good sunless tanner contains triclosan to kill the bacteria that causes the specific after-tanning odor. Some bronzers have a light floral scent and sunscreen. It is better to choose a bronzer that has a slight tint for easier application and to avoid streaks. It must to be applied carefully around the hairline and brows. Use a drop of body lotion with bronzer when applying to the rough skin of elbows and knees. Then they won't turn darker than the rest of the skin. It is recommended to exfoliate the skin before using a sunless bronzer to avoid blotchy, uneven color.

Aerosol bronzer is also a great option because it can be used alone or over foundation. It usually comes in an oil-free formula with vitamins and botanicals to give the skin smooth, airbrushed radiance.

For a natural sun-kissed look, wear a light foundation or a tinted moisturizer, apply bronzer to eyelids and face, one coat of mascara on your lashes, use a light lipstick or gloss. The bronzer will make your face glowing naturally.

Machine Welding with Lasers Becomes Commonplace

Laser machine welding is the joining of two pieces of material, usually metal, but often these days plastics, using a laser beam. A laser is a single phase, or coherent beam of light often seen in science fiction movies, but the development of the laser beam and its application in laser machine welding allows for advancements in precision welding using this high-energy device, which creates heat when it strikes a surface. Laser machine welding is used for steam tracing and inspection, for surface heat treating, cutting with heat and other precision applications.

The laser, which stands for light amphlication by stimulated emission of radiation, emits photons in a narrow beam. Laser light usually in monochromatic, meaning that it emits light of a single wavelength. Common light emits incoherent light, which goes in all directions over the spectrum. The first working laser was developed by Hughes labs in 1960, but was descended from work done by Albert Einstein in 1916. However, the laser itself is such a recent development that the use of laser machine welding is a fairly recent technological innovation.

Lasers have found applications in many areas since their invention. Modern medicine utilizes lasers for surgery, having realized the ability to perform less invasive surgical procedures than in the past. Also the fine and precise nature of lasers has led surgeons to use them for such delicate operations as eye surgery. In common practice many people today use laser pointers, especially in the classroom. Marksmen use laser sights on rifles. Computer users use laser printers for output rather than old-fashioned methods, and lasers are used for motion detection and security, among many dozens if not hundreds of other applications. Lasers are even used in children's toys, office photocopiers and in the devices used to lock and unlock car doors. As technology improved lasers worked their way into all aspects of life and it was only natural that applications of lasers to welding technology would occur. The end result of this has been the creation of the laser machine-welding specialty, taking its place next to Mig, Tig, Arc and other welding methods.

Uses of laser machine welding are becoming commonplace in the computer and consumer electronics industry, in space and aircraft technology and with defense contractors. Laser machine welding is often used because it can be much more precise than other welding methods. Laser machine welding is often used for micro welds of hyper small dimensions that conventional welding methods could never touch. Laser machine welding is often used in jewelry manufacturing, engraving, in dentistry, and in the tool and die industry where precision is demanded. What level of power in a Laser Pointer is needed to see the laser beam?

I'm looking into buying a laser pointer, but I want one where you can see the actual laser. I want one that can go really far, but is pretty cheap. It doesn't need to sting skin or pop balloons (although that would be cool), but I'd want it to mainly be seen for a long ways away and the actual laser to be seen (like the line).

3 Tips For Getting the Best Jewelry Making Tools For Wire Work

Anyone that wants to make great wire work jewelry needs to have the right tools. Many newbies to jewelry making -- and even some of us who have been doing this for awhile get a bit intimidated when it comes to the world of tools. Some jewelry makers actually get a bit stubborn, and attempt to make one single tool work for every possible configuration. It just doesn't work! You really do need a variety of tools for best success.

Here's my best beginners' tool list (and a frugal minded one at that) for wire work jewelry:

* The most important first: your pliers- flat-nose, chain-nose, round-nose

* A good quality pair of side flush cutters

* A good, smooth steel plate (this is a terrific substitute that is less expensive than a steel bench block)

* A hardware store hammer

* A small nylon or rawhide mallet

* A flat file (can find this at either the hardware store or a hobby store)

* Fine steel wool (for cleaning and polishing)

These tools will help you master wire work jewelry and create many beautiful pieces of jewelry.

Now that you know what you need, you might be wondering where to get these things. Here are some tips so you don't waste your money:

Tip #1:

Great tools can be found at the hardware store. "The hardware store?" you may ask, "that's where the Light Bulbs and ladders live." But no my little chickadee, you can find some of your jewelry making tools at the hardware store. Remember that you'll be working with wire and that wire is stiff and hard. It makes perfect sense that your perfect tools would live at the hardware store, just waiting to be found. Get a hammer, flat file, steel wool and a nylon mallet -- all at the hardware store! Best of all, often your hardware store jewelry making supplies will be less expensive than traditional craft store supplies!

Tip#2

Pay for quality so you don't pay for mistakes. This may seem funny to say after tip #1, but there is a time to spend the money. Here's where to spend your money: pliers. Never EVER get your pliers from the hardware store. Here's here you need to splurge on the specialized stuff.

It seems like many wire work jewelry makers scrimp a bit on their pliers (been there, done that!) so they have extra money to spend on supplies. But this is just like charging something on your credit card so you don't pay cash: not really a great bargain. You need quality pliers to see you through every wire work jewelry-making project that you do. If you purchase the cheapie pliers, you'll soon have trouble getting them to perform for you. There is nothing more frustrating than working on a great piece and having your tools not work as well as you do. The key to cutting costs is to know when - and pliers ain't the place to save. When it comes to pliers, you're wise to purchase quality tools that keep up the pace!

Tip #3:

Wire work jewelry making kit tools can be a great deal. But you do need to investigate exactly what is included in that kit. Many craft kits are created so they can be given as gifts or purchased by a beginner who may not completely understand what they need. We've already talked about exactly what tools you need. So if you see a wire work Tool Kit that includes lots of great pliers and a hammer or other tools for a top-notch price, then that is a good deal. But if it doesn't have the above tools and includes different types of tools then it is created for doing different types of jewelry and will not be useful for what you want to do.

Wire work jewelry making is very dependent on having the right tools. The more informed you are about your tools -- the stronger your jewelry making skills become.

Somethings you sew and need like a size ten needle, some Fireline if using crystal beads or Super Lon thread if doing seed beads. Fiskers childrens scissors or small scissors are good.

You need round nose pliers to do wire wrap. And some nippers. Just be sure NOT to use regular nippers on memory wire. It is too hazard and will ruin them.
Need two pair chain nose to do chainmaille.

You can use a braided wire and use crimp beads and a crimping tool or flat nose pliers.
