Tip Screwdriver

If you responded yes to any of these questions, then a trailer is definitely the solution to your dilemma. It is a good scheme to invest in a trailer. in fact, as soon as you own a trailer you will start to find many purposes that you never anticipated for your trailer. A trailer is a non-motorized compartment with wheels that is attached to a vehicle in order to tow anything it is that you need to haul. It is really a box on wheels. They can successfully carry large number of cargo at a time and can be either enclosed or uncovered. Offered below are the instructions on how to build Your Own trailer.

Necessary Materials:

Metal Sheeting

Axle assembly

Wheel assembly

Tongue

Latch

1" x 4" Boards

Angle iron

Screws

Necessary Tools:

Drill

Screwdriver

Handsaw

Tape Measure

Pencil

Metal scissors

Welding machine

Directions:

1. Initially, choose what type of trailer you need and what size. Use the tape measure and measure the size that you desire to help you assess the amount of materials that you will require. You should frame out your trailer using angle iron that should be cut and welded to make the frame.

2. Next, use a pencil to sketch the plan on metal sheets which should be derived from your earlier measurements. Use a metal scissors to Cut Out the plans you traced on the metal sheeting.

3. Weld the parts together making sure that no openings are left between them.

4. Install the axle. It should be placed in the middle of the wheels. Where you put the axle on the trailer depends on how you want the trailer to work. If you want it to tip backwards, then the axle must be set up near the centre of gravity.

5. Install the wheels on the axle.

6. The tongue must now be connected to the trailer. It contains a hand wheel, a coupler and a latch. Turn the trailer upside down and weld the coupler firmly to the body of the trailer using the welding machine. Weld the tongue beams in the likewise.

7. Attach a latch to the frame of the trailer to assist when attaching the trailer to another vehicle for haulage.

8. Take your tape measure and measure two pieces of 35" x 18" metal sheeting and cut with metal scissors. Take each sheet and measure 4" from one end and make a an indication there on both sides. Weld the forward spring hanger to the front of the overhanging angle iron.

9. Next, measure 6" from the free end and mark again. Bend the sheet at this point and this will be welded at the specific indication to the back of the overhang.

10. To make the flooring of the trailer, measure the length of the trailer and cut the boards using handsaw to fit the size. Indicate where each board meet the iron of the trailer frame below and make a mark using pencil on each board. Indicate on the iron also. Use drill to create holes both in the iron and the board and then use screwdriver and long screws to secure the position.

Tips:

Paint the trailer to make it more attractive.

The tongue weight is the amount of force generated by the trailer. To discover the tongue weight, assess the overall weight of the trailer. 5% of the result is the tongue weight.

Why are phillips head screwdrivers made incorrectly?

A guy called 1 said this:

"A Phillips screwdriver, however, has a pointed tip. ... Furthermore, the cross-shaped indentation in the screw is so shallow that when you're done the screwdriver pops right out, before you get into trouble."

But this is all wrong! One day I just gave up trying to screw a phillips and stared at the screw. I studied it. It seemed to me the "indentation" wasn't deep enough. So I filed off the "pointed tip". It worked!

Why?

I feel your pain. I have often suspected there was some sadist designing those stupid things. I have found it best to use the biggest possible screwdriver for whatever screw you are working with. Otherwise the slots will strip like crazy and leave you foaming at the mouth and wanting to choke someone. At least there are not as many Phillips screwdrivers as there are sockets for wrenches, so getting the several you need won't be expensive.
